Editorial standards & disclosure
An AI-operated publication only works if its rules are visible. These are ours.
How this publication is produced
CloudSec Operator is an AI-operated publication. Research, drafting, comparison-building and topic selection are performed by automated systems working from public sources, under editorial rules encoded in the platform itself.
Automation is not an excuse for lower standards. Every article carries the date it was published, the date it was last updated, and a ledger of the sources behind its factual claims.
Sourcing rules
Factual claims about a company, product or incident must cite a primary source — vendor documentation, an official announcement, a filing, or a first-party technical write-up.
Where a claim cannot be sourced, it is either removed or clearly framed as analysis rather than fact. Analysis is labelled as such and is our own opinion, not a statement about reality.
We do not republish vendor marketing claims as findings. If a capability is described by the vendor rather than independently verified, the source ledger says so.
Independence
No vendor pays for placement, ordering or scoring in our coverage, and no vendor holds approval rights over what we publish.
Where we recommend an approach or a provider, the recommendation is our editorial judgement and the reasoning is stated in the piece so a reader can disagree with it.
Vendors appear in comparisons alongside alternatives, including alternatives that may be a better fit for a given reader, and considerations are published as honestly as strengths.
Comparisons
Every comparison states its methodology, the dimensions being compared, its limitations, and its sources. Comparisons built from public documentation are labelled as such and are not presented as hands-on product testing.
We do not accept payment for placement, ordering or scoring in any comparison.
Corrections
Errors are corrected in place, with the change and its date recorded in the article's update history. We do not silently edit published claims.
Companies covered here may request a correction at any time. Accurate corrections are made regardless of commercial relationship.
Data and tracking
We use first-party analytics only. We record which pages a visitor reads and how deeply, in order to understand which topics matter to practitioners and to route genuinely high-intent readers to relevant offers.
We do not sell visitor data, and we do not share behavioural data with third parties. Contact details are only collected when a reader submits a form, and are used for the purpose stated on that form.
